Bahrain National Day

Every year, people in Bahrain wait eagerly for Bahrain’s National Day on the 16th of December. As such, 16 December is a national holiday and is usually celebrated with firework displays. This year’s celebration has complied with the mandatory measures on combating the COVID-19, where social distancing has been strictly observed.

Bin Faqeeh extends its sincerest greetings and blessings to His Majesty The King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the monarch of the country and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to the government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the 49th National Day.

Bahraini Women’s Day

The Kingdom of Bahrain prides itself on supporting Bahraini Women’s Day which was established in 2014. The formation of the Supreme Council for Women plays a crucial role in advocating and supporting women’s rights which is led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.

The Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates the Women’s Day yearly by hosting different events and conferences in honor of Bahraini women in various fields. Women in Bahrain take art in series of activities and functions including big investments, spreading legal awareness, and leadership roles of professional career women in these fields.

Martyr’s Day

His Majesty Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain dedicated the 17th December as Memorial Day in honor of all the martyrs of war. This day counts as an appreciation from the whole population to the martyrs who devoted their souls for the land of Bahrain.

The Martyr’s Day is one to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for the safety of the Kingdom of Bahrain and preserved those heroes who devoted their lives for the prosperity of their home country. This memory remains a source of light that illuminates the paths of pride and dignity.
