There are many such bright instances that made sacrifices in the sky of humanity, and presented examples on the plagues of the sun, in which every person living on the land of the Kingdom of Bahrain can shine.
Bahrain team is the most prominent model in this crisis, the "Corona crisis", and it is the knight who defends his homeland and its people with all dedication and sincerity. If we want to talk about this team and its soldiers, words and letters will not suffice to describe it and describe the boldness of the work it does for the sake of the homeland and humanity in general.
Thousands of stories drawn by that team, and perhaps here I stand on the story of Ahmed Al-Majiran, a member of the National Campaign against Coronavirus. Full of lessons learned, and which undoubtedly represent a bright beacon to others.
Ahmed is a young man who was shielded with a smile, and he hid behind the clothing of satisfaction. The feeling of a son who longed for his mother’s embrace no matter how old he was. A feeling in which sadness and grief were mixed on one hand, and nostalgia and longing on the other.
Ahmed was a member of the 5th batch of the First Deputy National Cadres Development Program, and he was an employee in Tamkeen, working as a consultant in the field of promoting services and how to benefit from them specifically for citizens and youth. Today, he is one of the heroes of the Corona pandemic in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On the 13th of February 2019, Ahmed was chosen to work in the Special Operations Center for the national campaign against Coronavirus. Manama was a pioneer in dealing with all the repercussions of this pandemic, as it formed specialized teams in all fields to monitor and monitor cases infected with the virus and those who were in contact with it. In addition, it examined those entering the Kingdom of Bahrain and dealt with all cases according to thoughtful strategies and plans supervised by an integrated team headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Among those efforts that continue day and night in order to preserve the health and safety of the people of Bahrain, there was "Ahmed".
Let us stop for a while with Ahmed, who has completed more than a year in this campaign, as he continued his reign in the anti-Corona virus team, and he used to influence the visit of his family, fearing them, and so that he would not be a reason - God forbid - to transmit the virus to them, especially since His mother was suffering from chronic diseases! Despite the feeling of longing, he was satisfied with contacting them daily on phone. Till it was the 10th of June 2020, when a call came to Ahmed while he was at his workplace informing him about his mother’s illness, and he was told that her pressure became high accompanied by a high temperature. Ahmed at that time had not seen his mother for two weeks, so he decided to visit her and check on her, contenting himself with greeting her from afar, applying social distancing out of his concern for her safety, and in application of health precautions - she understood his behavior, despite her lack of awareness of the implications and details of that virus. Herein lies the culture of the Bahraini citizen who is aware of preventive and safety measures.
To complete Ahmed's story, his mother’s condition stabilized for a few days, until another call came to him a week after her illness, while he was on duty after midnight informing him that his mother’s temperature had risen again, there were fluids in her lungs, and her oxygen level had reached 81%. On top of these, there are suspicions that she was infected with the Corona virus! Ahmed headed quickly to his mother before dawn, and she was transferred to Salmaniya Hospital for a corona test. And unfortunately, Ahmed’s mother was infected with corona.
Ahmed used to conceal feelings of sadness in front of his father and brothers, especially since his father had gone through a psychological phase and physical exhaustion due to the condition of the mother. Ahmed has not gone through a situation and a more difficult feeling than this. He used to follow and monitor from the Corona team's operations room the cases of injured citizens and residents on the land of Bahrain, including the case of his mother! He used to check on her data, write reports about it within its time frame, and support it with the causes and analysis provided by the medical, administrative and field teams. As he used to monitor the cases of citizens every day as part of his work, he did not imagine on this day his mother would also be part of his work. He was eager to embrace her and kiss her head and hands. All those who worked with him were sympathetic to his circumstances, and they always prayed for her to heal and be well.
As for the officials of the National Campaign against Coronavirus and the team supervisors, they appreciated Ahmed's tireless efforts to serve his country, and looked at him with gratitude, as they constantly followed up on his mother's condition and asked about her. They always asked him if he needed anything. This motivated Ahmed to work with more determination and dedication.
After a full month had passed since Ahmed mother’s health deteriorated, and on 20th July 2020, Ahmed's face rejoiced. Ahmed’s father health stabilized, and the lights of happiness entered Ahmad family's home when their mother returned home while she was in full health and wellness, after more than a month has passed since her last illness and her story with Coronavirus.
One month, one story, but it was the model for many Bahraini families who offered us loyal sons, planting in them the love of sacrifice and help, not for anything, but for what they were given a true religion and Arab originality calling for the adornment of these great morals. As for Ahmed, he guided us to the noble nature of Bahrain's people, which is based on sacrifice, tolerance, and humanity.
