The Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the Bahrain Half Marathon Night race in March 2019 under the generous patronage of His Majesty the King, may God protect him, and organized by the Bahrain Athletics Federation. In this regard, it won the first place in the world in organizing the half-marathon races for the year 2019.

The victory of the Kingdom of Bahrain from among 493 races held in various countries of the world embodies the prominent position of Bahrain and its leadership in organizing the largest sporting events under the patronage of the wise leadership.

Being awarded by the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) stresses the high position of Bahraini athletics and the Middle East region, amid great success and wide participation of various international athletes and sprinters. The prominent role of the Bahrain Athletics Federation and all concerned committees is a cause of pride which in turn embodies Bahrain's reputation as a leading destination for hosting the largest sporting events in general and in athletics in particular.

Eversince, the Bahraini engineer has demonstrated superior competence and capabilities in planning and implementing development projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and has contributed to the realization of many gains that fall within the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him.

Bahraini Engineer’s Day is celebrated on the 15th October 2020, and this explains the construction boom taking place in the Kingdom, whether in terms of housing projects or other service and developmental projects.

The profession of engineer is considered one of the most important professions because of its prominent role in the further developmental progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Bahraini engineer also has clear touches in the industrial, construction, and investment renaissance in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and care for him, sponsored with his generous patronage, the opening of the third session of the fifth legislative session of the Shura and Representatives Council, which was held via video call in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister.

The Kingdom of Bahrain was known for its democracy since its first inception were it was an integral part of the approach of rulers who succeeded to rule in it. It was the first experience of the democratic movement in Bahrain during the reign of Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Ali Al Khalifa in the thirties of the last century through the establishment of the Shura Council in Bahrain, which represents an important era in the history of Bahrain.

And, when His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, assumed the reins of power in the country, he carried with His Majesty a basic desire to involve the people in the decision-making process. Therefore, His Majesty launched his ambitious project represented in the National Action Charter, which carried His Majesty's vision of representative work and effective democracy in Bahrain.
