Bin Faqeeh Real Estate Investment Company S.P.C., the leading Bahrain based real estate developer, has once again for the second year in a row successfully organized a sport day event, with the attendance of H.E. Mr. Aymen Tawfiq Almoayyed, the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs. The event included various running competition races for adults and children.
The race was held at The Treasure in Dilmunia Island on the 25th of January 2019. It started at 07:00am for the runners of 10km and 5km where the winners of 10km were awarded for the overall categories. Age group categories were awarded as well with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for both men and women. The event was a pleasant race as the runners enjoyed the island’s sea views in front of Bin Faqeeh’s developed tower, The Treasure.
This year, the children of all ages were challenged through a 12-course obstacle race that had parents cheering them on to the finish line. Medals were awarded to all children and runners of both 10km and 5km fun run for their participation.
Commenting on this occasion, Bin Faqeeh's General Manager, Mr. Abdulrahman AlKooheji said, "Bin Faqeeh has been organizing this event on an annual basis in order to promote the overall health of the society and to spread awareness about the importance of playing sports. Boost Run has witnessed an increasing number of participants compared to previous years, which clearly shows the success it has made. We are very pleased with the impressive results that we have achieved this year."
H.E. Mr. Aymen Tawfiq Almoayyed, the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs was accompanied by Bin Faqeeh’s Chairman Mr. Faisal Faqeeh during the award ceremony for winners of the 10km race. This initiative aims to promote sports and health awareness through fun activities in the Kingdom.
